What’s the difference?

Serums bring moisture into the skin. They’re used for various issues like anti-aging or sun damage and typically contain several ingredients like vitamins or antioxidants. Serums have a deeper skin penetration.

Facial oils lock hydration. They balance the production of natural sebum on the skin and increases surface hydration. Are based on one particular oil or a combination. Plant-based oils and seeds such as jojoba, avocado, grapeseed, and sunflower are popular facial oils and address different skin issues, such as irritation, anti-aging, or inflammation.

What about using facial oil with oily skin?
Though it may sound contradictory, even oily skin can benefit from oils such as grapeseed or sunflower seeds which absorb skin natural oils to help balance the skin and control the extra shine that comes from having oily skin.
